A Game designed for iPhone:

Utilizing an unexpected strategy, our app will engage the user in a delightful gaming situation while incorporating CDC flu data that can help prevent and treat the flu. The data included will be the XML source of the Weekly Flu Activity Report and the RSS Feed of
Influenza updates.
Targeted towards an age group (18-35) that is not often perceived as an “at risk” demographic for the flu, we hope to create an awareness that they  can still be carriers and  can infect “at risk” populations like children and the elderly.

The game will maintain the player’s interest throughout the year, even when it is not flu season. Ease of play is based on actual flu season. When flu season is in full swing , our main character, the Flu, is able to easily contaminate people and places. when it is not high flu season, contaminating becomes more of a challenge, and the user has to be more thoughtful and clever about gaining strength.
